Community Research & Support Intern

Are you currently studying but looking for a summer internship? 
We are looking for a motivated and energetic student to provide support to our team. Areas you’ll be exposed to and could gain experience in, will include research, funding and grants, and other office support as required. 

Do you have what it takes?
ECCT is looking for someone who is interested in developing their research skills and working within a team who wants to support the community. Based in Hastings, in this position we are looking for someone with:

• Great communication skills
• Can work relatively autonomously as well as part of a team
• Detail-oriented 
• Proactive and not afraid to give things a go and ask questions when you aren’t sure. Fresh and new ideas are always welcome
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products

• Please state your availability to work over the summer period and any holidays you have booked. (For example, I can start 20 November and work until 27 January, and I have a holiday booked in between Christmas and New Year)  
• What qualification are you working towards / starting? 

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency/citizenship or valid NZ work visa.  This is a paid position, and the successful applicant will be paid above minimum wage.
