We have a strong preference for collaborative and equitable applications that work across the needs of numerous community groups. This grant is not available for multi-year funding requirements.
The grant is up to a maximum of $10,000 (GST excl.) The following guidelines are applied when assessing applications.
| Events | For events you can receive up to 50% of costs (to a maximum of $10,000) ** |
| Operational | Up to 20% of operating costs (to a maximum of $10,000) |
| Project | For small projects you can receive up to 25% of project costs. (to a maximum of $10,000) |
| Capital works | For minor repairs & maintenance you can receive up to 50% of costs. (to a maximum of $10,000) |
| Capital purchases | For capital purchases, you can receive up to 50% of costs. (to a maximum of $10,000) |
**For events, please note they must be accessible for the community - be free or low-cost entry. Events must encourage participation and have widespread appeal within the community.
Please note we do not include GST in costings/budgets.

If your application is successful, we will notify you in writing outlining why it was approved either in full or partially. Your names and the grant amount will be published in our next annual report.
Payment will be made by direct credit to your bank account within ten working days of when all conditions of payment are met.
Applicants who receive a grant must report, on how the money was spent and the outcomes they delivered, within 12 months of receiving payment. These reports ensure accountability that a grant was spent efficiently and effectively on the purpose intended. They also allow us to keep learning, helping us assess similar grant applications in the future.
