TiraRangatahi

Our Funding Options. We provide funding for activities that benefit the communities of our region. Our approach is designed to support a wide range of communities and organisations in areas where funding is likely to have the most impact.

There are Five Communities and Five Pou | Pillars we prioritise. It is very important to take the time to review these in detail, as grant requests will be evaluated based on genuine alignment to these criteria.

Our Funding Grants

Grants are awarded via the Community Support & Events Fund, Community Impact Fund and Community Partnership Fund.

Our rangatahi (youth) funding is delivered through our rōpu (youth group), TiraRangatahi. In 2021, a Rangatahi Action Plan was created specifically by TiraRangatahi to support youth in our region. Funding has been allocated to support rangatahi-led projects, programmes and for building rangatahi-led organisations. Only rangatahi can apply for this funding.

Organisations are eligible to apply for one successful grant per financial year which is from April - March. More information on eligibility criteria can be found in Resources & Support
