National and local community funding organisations have come together to host a Hawke’s Bay Funding Roadshow in Napier, Hastings and Central Hawke’s Bay to be held on 13, 14 and 22 of April respectively.
The roadshow, which is free to attend, aims to connect community and not-for-profit groups and organisations with funders who can provide information and advice about the funding opportunities available in the Hawke’s Bay area.
“People attending will have the chance to hear in detail from a range of funders and also discuss their funding needs directly with funding providers,” Hawke’s Bay Funders Forum Chair and Hastings District Council Community Grants and Partnerships Advisor, Kev Carter says.
“Throughout our network there are a number of funding opportunities and we’re keen to assist community organisations to make the most of what’s available to them.”
Organisations so far confirmed include: Eastern and Central Community Trust, Hawke’s Bay Foundation, Sport Hawke’s Bay, Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), Creative New Zealand, Hastings District Council, Napier City Council and Central Hawke’s Bay District Council.
